International Clients

In an effort to ease the strain of high shipping costs to our international customers we have changed the way we structure our shipping process for our PetDetect supplies. You will now be able to order up to 40 collar rolls and they will be shipped in one large box at a rate of $75.00 a savings of $25.00. In addition if you order 40 collar rolls we will give you the wholesale price of $19.60 a roll, all together that's a saving of $117.00. If you do not wish to purchase that many collar rolls you may still order 1-24 rolls and have them shipped at the standard price of $50.00.

Domestic Clients

While re-organizing our international shipping rates we didn’t forget our domestic ones! When ordering collars within the United States your orders of 1-24 rolls of collar material will still ship for $16.00, however if you order 40 rolls they will ship together in a large box for $26.00. If you order 40 rolls you’ll receive the sale price of $19.60 a roll.

Our K9 Bytes Online Help Central is your own personal support technician available to help you 24 hours a day! Our new help section offers extensive coverage of every aspect of the program from set-up to reports. The online help application is available through our website; you can access it by clicking the link xxxxx or if you’re already in K9 Koordinator on the manager screen you can click on “K9 Bytes Help Central” at the bottom left side of the screen. The in-depth explanation of set-up procedures and everyday functions enables you to use all the facets of the program.

Reports

  1. Added check in/out dates and times to the run transfer report. Transfers scheduled for pets already checked out will not show in the report.
  2. Meds and Diets report will now include check out date and it will have instructions in bold to avoid employees missing important remarks.
  3. Added the current run to the ‘Run Transfers’ report. The current run will help you avoid overhead because you won’t be checking the wrong run for a dog.
  4. The Referral report will now list all referrals within the searched range as well as those new clients who visited within the searched range (i.e. clients with currently 1 visit that checked out within the searched dates). This addition will ensure clients that were referred long time ago will now show up in a current report, even months after the referral was first entered. Also, for convenience the referrals for pets with 0 boarding visits will be separated from those with more than 0 visits.
  5. New ‘Pick Up and Delivery’ report. Pickup and delivery configuration can be defined under ‘Set Up,’ ‘Basic Services,’ ‘Services,’ and ‘Pick Up and Delivery.’
  6. Time clock report has been modified to add the worked time per shift in terms of hours and minutes, in addition to the way it was previously reported using only hours and fractions of hours.

Daycare

  1. The daycare packages set up screen now displays statuses for existing packages (i.e. active, inactive, or deleted) based on the item’s inventory status.

Boarding

  1. For the detailed pet information in the vacancy screen the ‘last modified’ date was replaced by the ‘added’ date.
  2. Added the ability to sort by the ‘Added’ reservation date when looking at the list of pets in the advanced vacancy screen.
  3. For simplicity, all run transfers will now show as ‘Transfer From’ and ‘Transfer To.’
  4. When assigning runs using the advanced vacancy screen, the top header that shows the dates is now fixed (i.e. it doesn’t change), so when scrolling down to select a run it is always visible.
  5. When changing the stay for a pet that is checked in, and that pet has a run transfer scheduled ending on the current check out day, the system will prompt you to automatically modify the transfer’s end date to the new check out date (it will automatically do so when cutting the stay short).
  6. When checking out a pet that has a run transfer ending a date after the check out date, the system will prompt you to either adjust the transfer or change the checkout date before allowing the pet’s check out. This is to ensure your run charges will be correct.
  7. For boarding stays longer than a week, run cards can now be printed starting on the day they are printed (default) or from the check in date. The new option appears in the run card selection screen as ‘Only dates starting today.’

Grooming

  1. Grooms in the waiting list now automatically get deleted after they are checked in.

General Features

  1. In the layout screen, when you click a run a list of future dates shows in the right hand side of the screen. The future dates will list the total number of pets staying each day on the selected run. Clicking on each day, will show which pets are scheduled to be in that run on that day.
  2. Notepad entry deletion is now recorded in the security log.
  3. The credit card information storage now has a trashcan icon that can be used to properly delete all credit card information from the system for a particular client (including all encrypted information).

Services

  1. New outside service package history report added. The report is accessible from ‘Records,’ ‘Services,’ or the services vacancy/scheduling screen.
  2. When deleting outside service appointments that will be refunding to an expired package, a message will appear explaining that the package being refunded is already expired.
  3. When an employee other than the one who originally booked a reservation adds a service, and that service has a commission attached to it, the system will inform the user who originally booked the appointment to enter the person that the new commission will be applied to.

Training

  1. The training packages set up screen now displays statuses for existing packages (i.e. active, inactive, or deleted) based on the item’s inventory status.

Rewards

  1. Refunds and reverse refunds can now add or subtract rewards points. There is an option in the refunds screen to ‘Also Refund Reward Points.’ Points adjusted in this way will display as a ‘Refund Adjustment’ in the client’s rewards report.

During July you can see we made some changes and improvements all made with you in mind! We will continue to review our policies and programs in an attempt to better serve our domestic and international customers.

Best Regards,
